Secret RF Microneedling is designed for more global improvement of fine lines, wrinkles and scars as well addressing as poor texture and tone of skin on whole face, neck and chest. This is also an excellent treatment option for stretch marks and wrinkles of your body skin.
What is Secret™ RF Microneedling?
Secret™ RF is a revolutionary, bipolar radio frequency fractional microneedling system that delivers heat energy to improve fine lines, wrinkles, and scars on the face, neck, chest and on the body. With little to no downtime, Secret™ RF tightens skin, reduces pores, improves scars, lightens pigmentation and minimizes stretch marks.
How does Secret™ RF microneedling work?
Secret RF Microneedling uses minimally invasive gold plated micro-needles, in 25-pin or 64-pin square array to deliver precisely controlled RF energy into the deeper layers of the dermis while avoiding damage to the epidermis at the skin surface. This produces a fractionated denaturing of dermal tissue, stimulating new collagen and elastin production, but without the downtime of a fractionated laser treatment.
Secret™ RF Microneedling addresses the following issues:

What will I experience during my Secret™ RF treatment?
We recommend proper preparation with good hydration: drink 6-8 glasses of water daily and apply the Pure HA Serum that we provide, twice daily for 1-2 weeks prior to your treatment. On the day of your treatment, you will have a strong topical numbing cream applied to the treatment area to make you as comfortable as possible. After cleansing your treatment area of numbing cream, the appropriate needle tip will be used to treat the area, with the correct number of passes to target the problem. You may experience just a sensation of pressure to a prickling momentary heat sensation as the RF energy is delivered, especially on sensitive areas such as around the lips and eyes.
What is the downtime after the Secret™ RF treatment?
Your skin will be red, warm and tingling immediately after the treatment and this usually subsides within a few hours. Some redness and minor swelling can last up to 24-48 hours. Most patients will return to work the next day without any obvious effects. Occasionally a fine scab may develop that looks like dots from the treatment. This is normal so do not pick or scrub this off and follow all post-treatment recommendations.
How long will the treatment take?
The treatment typically takes 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.
When will I see results?
You may see some tightening soon after the treatment due to the coagulative effects, but the real results take 4-8 weeks to show as your skin responds to the RF stimulation with production and reorganization of new collagen and elastin.
How many Secret™ RF treatments are recommended?
Most patients will see significant results with a series of 2-3 treatments, spaced about one month apart. However, the total number of treatments will depend on how you respond to the treatment and the severity of your skin issues.
Can I have more than one series of Secret™ RF?
Yes, since our skin continues to age with time, sun exposure and stress, Secret™ RF is a safe and effective treatment that can preserve youthful skin. Many patients choose to have a maintenance session every year or so after their initial treatment.
Can Secret™ RF treat all skin types?
Unlike many lasers that cannot be used on certain skin types, Secret™ RF is a very safe treatment that can be performed on the face and body for all skin types and ethnicities.
Any special instructions to prepare for my Secret™ RF treatment?
Do increase hydration with drinking 6-8 glasses of water daily. Also apply hyaluronic acid serum for 1-2 weeks to maximize your skin’s hydration status. This will translate to a more effective treatment and faster recovery.
Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning booths and airbrush tans 1-2 weeks prior.
Avoid taking blood thinners (i.e. aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, fish oil) for at least 10 days prior.
